Project Name: BACHAO-Chayatal Literacy Center

Poject Duration: 1 Year [January 1, 2024 – December 31, 2024]

During the 2023-2024 fiscal year, BACHAO provided vital funding to sponsor 64 underprivileged children at the BACHAO – Chayatal Literacy Center. This funding ensures that children from first to fifth grade receive nutritious meals free of charge. In addition to education, they are being trained in music and handicrafts, further enhancing their skills.

Thanks to the generous support of BACHAO, an ongoing education program for street children is in place, running from January 1st to December 31st. This program includes regular examinations to monitor their progress, as well as consistent food security to meet the children’s daily nutritional needs. A medical camp is organized monthly to attend to their health, and job-oriented training programs are introduced to equip them with practical skills.

The primary aim of the BACHAO – Chayatal Literacy Center is to make these children self-sufficient, offering them the opportunity to develop through handicraft skills, thus keeping them off the streets and guiding them toward a brighter future. This ongoing commitment ensures that these children continue to receive the support and resources needed to thrive.
